States of Matter

Such a great night. Seeing these gowns up close was so interesting! The space and display design was incredible also. Gotta love that custom neon.

remember when i used to use this blog?

Here's a doodle from my sustainable steampunk CFDA entry. She's one of my favorites and one of rose's least favorites.

So it goes.

I really need to reread Slaughterhouse Five.

Another Glamourous Saturday Night

Heres a shot of some of my weekend homework.. well about a 3rd of it. I just gave the girls some skin tone.. time to render till my face is blue!

With the sketch selection for my Cosabella mentor project rapidly approaching I'm optimistic and excited. Oh please, Oh please, let Cosabella pick my 1940's charmeuse sailor pants. Cross your fingers for me!

First Homework of the Season

I still get excited when I realize that what I have been assigned for homework, is the best possible way I could spend my time. Shop on the west end of Melrose and write an essay on trends. Illustrate ten croquis of whatever you choose. Flip through countless magazines and scroll through countless blogs for reference images. Draw pretty girls in pretty clothes.

I need to whip me up one of these suckers (ruffle-riffic crop top). I love light denim and light denim loves me.

Yogurt Covered Pretzels

Such a strangely busy weekend. Lots of reorganizing and building and running around. Had late night adventure at Senor Fish, and so today I've indulged watching Freaks and Geeks and drawing with my yogurt pretzels by side.

Hold on to Your Hat

My best friend, Courtney, is moving to Chi-City in a matter of weeks. Weird. Here's fuzzy picture of a windy doodle.
